How long have you been at Venues and Events International?

2 months.

What would you say is your favourite venue or destination?

Favourite destination has to be a recent visit to the city of Lisbon, understandable why they won Europe’s leading City Break destination World Travel Awards 2018.

What made you want to become an Account Director?

I love helping and suggesting great venues to clients and providing the best solution for their events whether it be cost related/location or maybe they are looking for something out of the box.

What is your biggest highlight of your career so far?

I love my job and the different challenges it brings with it each day, the opportunity to travel and see all these different places.

Can you describe a typical day of your job?

Each account is different, so it maybe a day making keep in touch calls or out on site visits with the clients. I don’t think there is a “typical” day!

What’s been your biggest challenge to date?

Achieving the biggest sales target in a previous role!

What top tip would you give to anyone coming into the industry?

If you have the passion for venues and events then go for it…. It’s a very rewarding career.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

Hopefully with my feet up in a little place in the sun…

What gives you that #FridayFeeling?

For me its achieving the sales, making sure the clients are happy makes me happy!
