How long have you been at Venues and Events International?

Since May 2017.

What would you say is your favourite venue or destination?

Antigua or Portugal – I like international destinations!

What made you want to become a Conference Planning Executive?

Wanting a job that was more varied than your standard office job and something that could give me a variety of roles within my own.

What is your biggest highlight of your career so far?

Fam trip to Marbella or ladies day fam trip at Aintree, both trips that will stick with me!

Can you describe a typical day of your job?


What’s been your biggest challenge to date?

Learning a lot of new things whilst actively doing the job, only way to do it really but can be challenging depending on the client and request you have to handle.

What top tip would you give to anyone coming into the industry?

Be prepared for anything and everything, have an open mind.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?

Currently no idea, I try to look a year ahead as things can change so much so quickly.

What gives you that #FridayFeeling?

The atmosphere in the office on a Friday afternoon with everyone wrapping things up for the week and looking forward to the weekend.
