Venues and Events International have today announced they have been accredited as an “Investors in People” organisation. IIP is an international standard for people management and recognises organisations for their commitment to high performance through strong people management and development.
Assessors praised Venues and Events International including:
1. Strong inspirational leadership, company values and an organisational structure that supports the future ambitions of the company and provides clarity for careers, job roles and responsibilities.
2. High levels of employee loyalty, supported by great ‘people’ related procedures and attitudes, creating a friendly, rewarding work environment.
3. A culture of empowerment, openness and trust, underpinned by strong motivation and teamwork.
4. A rapidly expanding and successful young business, offering development and progression opportunities for those that want to grow their careers.
The accreditation follows 6 months of evidence gathering by Commercial and Marketing Director, Josephine Bradley who spearheaded the project. “This is an amazing recognition for us as a relatively young business – we always say our team is what sets us apart from our competitors so it’s important we look after them and ensure we’re fit for the future. This accreditation is a great reassurance that we’re doing the right thing!”
