Gleneagles Hotel

The Gleneagles Hotel is one that I feel we couldn’t possibly miss off the Best of Scotland list! It’s a beautiful 5-star luxury hotel, set on 850 acres with three championship golf courses and award-winning ESPA spa. It is situated just an hour away from Edinburgh and Glasgow airport, and has direct trains from London arriving in five hours at the estates onsite train station.

Opened in 1924, the venue can offer an extensive range of country pursuits and leisure activities to include shooting school, tennis, horse riding, off-road driving, falconry, cycling, archery and fishing. Home of the only two Michelin starred restaurant in Scotland, Gleneagles can offer it all – relaxation, fun, adventure and indulgence, it’s sure to be experience you would never forget.

Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House Hotel and Spa

Part of the Accor Hotels collection, Mercure Ardoe House Hotel is a 4-star, 19th century mansion house set in 30 acres of Aberdeen countryside, easily accessible just 3 miles outside of the city. The hotel at first glance could be compared to a traditional castle, it was built in 1878 and the design was inspired by nearby Balmoral Castle.

The venue can offer 7 meeting spaces, from 2 people to 600 people, each meeting space is unique and full of character.

Apex City of Edinburgh

1599 at Royal College

1599 at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons has a collection of unique rooms and function suites available for formal functions, private dining, conferences/meetings and bespoke wedding. The 8 meeting rooms each tell a part of the College’s story through history, with individual character charm and period features. From a small boardroom meeting to 110 for dinner, the venue can also host up to 140 in a lecture theatre. Whatever the occasion, the venue is sure to impress!
