Re-engineering our services was high on the agenda for 2020 to continue delivering exceptional service to our Clients.
2020 was certainly a year to remember, and despite the challenges, we learnt so much about ourselves and how we could adapt our services to ensure we continued to deliver an exceptional service and remain attentive to our Clients’ business needs.
One of our major successes that came out of 2020 was the success of our virtual team building experiences. We recognised the need to ensure our clients continued to engage with their own employees to keep team morale high as people adapted to new ways of working. With more people working from home, it is so important people do not feel isolated and still feel part of a team.
Virtual experiences, although have been around for some time, really came into their own in 2020, and we all stepped up our game to ensure there were new and innovative ways to connect and engage as part of an online community.
Collaborating with our teambuilding strategic partners, we have successfully seen more than 600 individual delegates partake in our virtual team building experiences.
Some of our most popular experiences include:Escape Room
Master of the Tasks
Kayley Westall, our Master Event Ninja, heads up our virtual experiences and shares the importance of virtual experiences to keep people connected and morale high whilst people continue to work in remote locations:
“Our virtual experiences are a great way of bringing teams together. Whilst this can’t be done in the conventional way, these virtual activities are such a fun and great alternative to help keep colleagues and teams engaged at all times. They provide fun team interaction with plenty of laughter guaranteed. They are all completely hassle free as our team are always on hand to help organise these from start to finish.”
We love it when we get feedback from our events, especially when they have experienced something new. Here is one piece of feedback we recently received from one of our lovely Clients…
“Everyone enjoyed themselves and their cocktails and it was a nice way to wind down before Christmas! The session lasted for 1 hr 15 mins which was longer than I thought (I was under the impression it was only 60 minutes) so that was good. It meant that we had a little more time to make (and consume) our drinks!
The murder mystery was thoroughly enjoyed by the whole team. Definitely an activity we would do again in the future! Great way to bring everyone together.
I think the event was a great success. Somebody even said it was their favourite Christmas party they’d been to!”

Another way we re-engineered ourselves in 2020, was the introduction of our Christmas hamper service.
Creator of Opportunities, Kim Cavilla, (and possibly the biggest Christmas fanatic in our office) was determined to create new ways for clients to show their appreciation to their teams:
“At the time of year when everyone loves to get together. However a global pandemic would not allow for this so we wanted to give all of our Clients different options to be able to celebrate the year they had. And, most importantly say thank you to their employees or Clients.
After sending just one mailshot to our Clients on Christmas hamper ideas, the enquiries came flooding in. We were able to provide a bespoke option where clients could pick their budget and items.
By the last week of Christmas, we sent out 252 hampers that met the last delivery date before Christmas!”
Here is some amazing feedback from one Client who sent hampers to her team:
“I Just wanted to share some great feedback from the team on the hampers:
‘Really impressed with the vegan/vegetarian friendly snacks’
So, thank you again, you really made excellent choices and a quality product. Much appreciated.”
2021 will no doubt have more challenges in store. As we continue to work alongside the pandemic, we will embrace any challenge that comes our way and continue to re-engineer our services to ensure we continue to be attentive to our Clients.
