2021 started in a positive way for venue find and event management agency Venues and Events International. In February they announced they ended 2020 with three new client wins. This has subsequently led to the appointment of Michaela Isted into the events team, and Sarah Orten joining the finance team.
Heading into Q2, Anita Lowe, is delighted to announce an additional two new client wins and a 12-month contract extension. “This is an exciting time for us at Venues and Events International as we continue to see confidence build in the return of meetings and events. Earlier this month, our client in the financial sector extended their contract with us for an additional 12 months without going to tender. I’m also delighted to share we’ve expanded our client portfolio having secured two new clients from the automotive and technology sectors. Both clients that have very exciting live events in the pipeline and we’re already getting stuck right in.”
This business growth has led to further recruitment with the newly appointment of Account Manager, Tracy Finnigan. Tracy joins Venues and Events International with more than 25 years’ experience in the industry. Tracy previously worked for Expotel which was subsequently acquired by Capita Travel and Events in 2012. Responsible for helping nurture the new clients, Tracy said: “I’m excited to be working with Anita and the team. Their client base and work ethics fit right in with how I love to work and engage with clients. I’m looking forward to getting straight in and start building new relationships.”
