As confidence returns in meetings and events, so does visibility and forecasting. Venues and Events International is seeing 96% of visibility of budget forecasting, with Clients confirming enquiries, up from 68% visibility in April 2021. The increase and clarity of client bookings have led to further expansion of the creative and innovative events team as Venues and Events International welcomes:

  • Trudi Wagner as a new Event Director, with over 20 years of experience at Marriott Hotels – successfully delivering its Europe and the Middle East tradeshow strategy and corporate customer events. Trudi will use this wealth of knowledge to provide strategic guidance on client event delivery.

  • Kira Clinton as a new Event Executive. Kira first developed a passion for managing events at photography exhibitions after completing a photography degree. This led to three years of travelling the world as a cruise ship photographer – organising VIP guest exhibitions and marketing events. Kira joined an events company to manage exhibition spaces, quickly leading her to Swindon’s FD Centre to manage its UK marketing events programme, roadshows, and client events.

Kira is equally as excited about joining the team: “Having supported event delivery and travelling so extensively for work, I am excited to join a close-knit team that is as passionate about events as I am.”

Paulina Zapala – Senior Event Manager
  • Paulina Zapala is a returning Senior Event Manager. For the last 18 months, Paulina has been seconded onto a long-term project and is excited to get back to the buzz of live events. 

Paulina says: “I was fortunate to remain part of the Venues and Events International family during the pandemic, seeing first-hand how the team has supported clients and diversified to meet their needs. I’m looking forward to getting back with the events team and what we do best – delivering amazing and memorable client experiences.”
