For our next Venue Spotlight, Ann has chosen Beaverbrook Hotel.

Why is Beaverbrook Hotel great for meetings and events?

The Beaverbrook Hotel is a glamorous and Stunning 5-star Luxury Country Estate with 470 Acres of stunning grounds with views of the rolling Surrey Hills. The property is enriched with history all around. Lord Beaverbrook was the Minster for Aviation in WWII. He encouraged households to donate aluminium from pans to be melted down to make Spitfires. This is reason for the Spitfire Emblem is everywhere throughout the property as well as staff wearing small badges.

The Beaverbrook hotel has three beautiful event spaces. From the Orangery room which is light and bright and has its own private terrace, to the elegant Aitken and Maxell Rooms all with state-of-the-art facilities. This venue also has a private cinema. The cinema has luxurious plus seating for a maximum of 20 guests, what more could you want on a classic rainy day.

Take a stroll through the traditional Walled Victorian Garden. The garden offers an abundance of fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, edible and non-edible flowers. This provides fresh produce for the three Restaurants. Each restaurant explores vastly different foods. Located in the house, the Japanese Grill offers an elegant menu of delicately flavoured selections of sushi, sashimi, and nigiri. Tucked away behind the walled garden you will find The Garden House Restaurant. This restaurant offers comforting Italian-styled dishes. Finally, The Coach house Deli which serves fresh, seasonal, and wonderfully simple. You will find everything from super-food salads and cold-pressed juices to house-baked flatbread all prepared that morning.

The Beaverbrook Hotel offers a large range of activities that cater to all age groups. From exploring the estate’s beautiful grounds on a bike ride to attending the Cookery School with some of the most innovative chefs.

A lovely side note is that this country house hotel welcomes four-legged friends. Dogs are not allowed in the Main House but are welcome in certain parts of the Garden House and Garden House Cottage.

Why Ann loves this venue:

I love this venue as it offers everything for everyone. This venue is a slice of luxury in the beautiful Surrey countryside, but also only 20 miles from central London. From intimate meeting spaces to team-building activities on the grounds. Ranging from fishing in the Lake to Croquet on the lawns. Beaverbrook hotel has a state of Art Spa which certainly has a Wow factor. The Private Dining rooms/Meeting Rooms are beautifully decorated, and the hotel is able to add Wine Tastings, History Tours, or take time to explore the house and gardens.

Finally, many world-famous people have stayed from Elizabeth Taylor to Rudyard Kipling.
