For our next Venue Spotlight, Amber has chosen the Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa. This hotel was featured in The Independent’s Best Boutique Hotels 2019.

Why is the Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa great for meetings and events?

Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa, located right in the heart of the historic city centre on Corn Street. Bristol Harbour Hotel once was two grand banking halls, now transformed into a stylish boutique hotel with colourful and quirky furnishings.

This lavish hotel has 42 uniquely decorated rooms with rich, warm tones and luxurious velvety textures. All the rooms come with Harbour Hotel’s little luxuries. This includes a Nespresso coffee machine, 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, The White Company toiletries and complimentary gin & sherry. It is evident that this hotel pays close attention to the finer details.

The hotel features three spectacular event rooms: The Sansovino, The Vault and The Blue Room. Inspired by Sansovino’s 16th Century Library this former banking hall of the Lloyds Bank building has a magnificent skylight and opulently detailed ceiling. This beautifully decorated room can hold up to 400 guests. Set within the old banking vaults, and accessed by walking down a candlelit staircase, The Vault is a unique event space for 60 guests seated or 80 guests for drinks. Looking for more of an intimate space? The Blue Room was the original Bank Manager’s office for the Lloyds Banking Hall in 1854, with high ceilings and stylish décor and design. This intimate space is perfect for private dinners.

Unlike other hotels, Harbour Hotels have award-winning restaurants, and hip bars in-house. The Harbour kitchen takes a classic English menu to a new level, expertly cooked under the culinary supervision of renowned Chef Director John Pollard.

Wanting to take a more relaxed trip to the Bristol Harbour Hotel, why not visit the underground spa? Located in the former vaults (made for a cosier experience), you will find a swimming pool, steam room, sauna, and hydro pool. There are also plenty of areas for lounging and relaxing
