Your questions answered. At Venues and Events International we are passionate about our venue knowledge. Over the years we have developed relationships with thousands of hotels, from large chain hotel groups to some of the most unique and unusual venues. Clients rely on this knowledge and expertise to give them absolute confidence in the properties we propose.

We caught up with Kayley from our venue find team, to see what questions are regularly asked by clients.

One of the most common questions we get asked (and rightly so) is about the effect of Covid-19. The coronavirus outbreak and subsequent lockdown measures have had a significant impact on the sector, with the ability to stage, host and attend large-scale events restricted or halted completely across the globe.

Here, we look at this and some of the common questions we receive:

Will my booking be affected by COVID-19 if guidelines change?

While Covid-19 and government guidelines are out of our hands, we will check all COVID-19 policies with venues prior to confirming any bookings. At Venues and Events International we like to ensure if guidelines were to change and the event was unable to go ahead or take place as originally planned due to changes, that the venue will offer a full refund or postpone the event free of charge.

Are we getting the best value for money?

We will always show savings on the proposal documents we send to our clients. We negotiate all costs with the venues to ensure we are getting the best deal possible. And where possible, we’ll always work to get some added extras for free thrown in.

How do I know the venue you’re proposing is the right fit for my meeting?

Venue knowledge is built in our DNA. However, if you are unsure on the venues we are proposing and the best value for money, join the Venue Finding team on a site inspection. These are great as they show you first-hand how the venue will bring your event or meeting to life.

Do the venues we propose have sustainability policies?

Most of the time they do. Sustainability is a massively important factor to us and our clients. So it’s important that the venues we work with reflect this. If anyone would like to see venues policies surrounding this, just let the team know and we can send this across. How can we incorporate something fun to our meeting or event?

We all need a bit of fun! We work with team building partners who all offer something a bit different. Anything from an energiser, to boost audience participation, or activities which get your delegates competing or working together, we’ll find the right concept to keep everyone engaged and interested!
