This week our Venue Spotlight, chosen by Louise, takes us to Great Scotland Yard Hotel in London.

Located in the historical borough of Westminster, this hotel is where history meets modern luxury. Great Scotland Yard Hotel is a five-star luxury hotel, just a stroll away from Covent Garden.

The hotel has an amazing bespoke art collection throughout the hotel’s common areas, as well as in their bedrooms. Art enthusiasts are spoilt for choice here as there is so much to take in. As well, with 152 luxury rooms, eight suites, and an exclusive standalone two-bedroom Townhouse, the hotel has something for everyone. They have embraced Edwardian and Victorian architecture to ensure no two rooms are the same throughout the hotel.

Great Scotland Yard Hotel has its own terrace, the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Terrace which has fantastic views over the Westminster skyline and beyond. As well as this, their indoor bar, Síbín is perfect for a relaxed drinks reception and is even more well suited to any whiskey lovers.

Lastly, your furry friend doesn’t have to miss out on any of the fun. Great Scotland Yard Hotel is dog friendly. It even offers a Dog Afternoon Tea, serving ‘homemade doggie cake’, dogestive biscuits and a ‘pupcake’. So, bring along your pup to enjoy a luxurious stay.

Why I Love Great Scotland Yard Hotel

This is a stunning hotel which has been designed to be creative and unique. Every area has so much to take in. A hotel which doesn’t feel like a hotel.

The meeting space offers something completely different to “the norm”.  A space which can hold up to 70 delegates theatre style, a boardroom to hold 8 people, all with its own lounge, refreshments bar and games table.  It also has a ‘cinema size’ LED screen in the main meeting to make any presentation more engaging.
